We are selling three packages: The first one comes with a VitalBand and a magnetic charging block, which allows you to charge your watch without taking it off. The second package comes with a VitalBand, a magnetic charger, and an extended range hub that you can pair the VitalBand with via Wi-Fi. The third package comes with the VitalBand, magnetic charger, hub and a two-way audio Wi-Fi camera. This allows you to see and talk with your parents in the event of a fall or emergency.

My parents only have a landline. Is there an alternative method of connection?
You may purchase the extended range hub that connects to your home’s Wi-Fi. This will pair with the Bluetooth on your VitalBand device. The hub also extends the connection to your VitalBand to approximately 100 feet.
Is there a warranty available for my VitalBand?
The VitalBand comes with a one-year warranty against defects, with the option of purchasing an extended-year warranty for $49.95.
Does the warranty cover a lost or stolen device?
The warranty only provides damage coverage. We will not replace a lost or stolen device.
How do I set a reminder on my VitalBand?
During setup on the app, you will be prompted to add alerts or reminders. The app will guide you through the process.
Can I link two VitalBand watches to the same phone?
Only one VitalBand device can be paired to a phone at a time. However, you may view multiple VitalBands in the portal on your computer or tablet.
How do I adjust the sensitivity of my VitalBand?
During the setup period of the app, you will be prompted to adjust your device’s sensitivity. The app will guide you and offer three levels of sensitivity, one of which will be perfect for your situation.
How do I assign my emergency contacts?
When setting up the app, you will be given the opportunity to select your emergency contacts. You can only select one person to call. However, your device can text an unlimited number of contacts (carrier restrictions apply). Enter the phone numbers and names in the appropriate fields and save.
What is the maximum number of people I can list as my emergency contacts?
VitalBand can only call one person, but it is capable of texting as many people as you’d like (carrier restrictions apply).
I bought my mother a VitalBand watch. Do I need to download the app on my phone?
The app is only needed for configuring fall sensitivity and alarm notifications. If you plan to make changes in device configurations you should download the app.

What other alerts does my VitalBand send me?
Your VitalBand can be pre-programmed for medication reminders and gola notifications. You may also program it to set parameters for your heart rate and respiration rate. If it exceeds or drops below a certain range, a notification will be sent to your emergency contacts.
How do I know if my VitalBand called for me when I’ve fallen?
Your screen will display an exclamation point enclosed by a red box. This image indicates that your fall detection has been activated and that an emergency call and texts have been made.
Can the VitalBand detect my fall and make a call when charging?
As long as the watch is secured on your wrist, the VitalBand will both detect your fall and notify your emergency contacts immediately after a fall is detected.
How do I know when to charge my VitalBand?
Your device will provide notification when it falls below 20 percent of battery life.
Can I see when my parents’ VitalBand watch needs to be charged?
You will receive a text notification when your parents’ VitalBand watch falls below 20 percent battery charge.
Can I sleep with my VitalBand?
VitalBand is intended for 24-hour use, which includes showering and sleeping with it on. This ensures that you will have constant fall protection and vital signs tracking, even at night.
If I need help, how do the paramedics know where to find me?
VitalBand is equipped with GPS technology, allowing the paramedics or your emergency contacts to identify your location easily. Your phone will also provide location services to emergency personnel.
How far can I be from my phone for the VitalBand to work?
You can be between 30-40 feet away, depending on the composition of the walls and the number of walls between you and your mobile device or hub.
How do I indicate that my fall was a false alarm?
A countdown will appear on the VitalBand screen after it detects a fall. Place your hand over the face of the watch to disable the alarm, indicating a false positive.
Can I make a call on my VitalBand if I need help?
You can make a call on your VitalBand by holding the button on the face of the watch for three seconds. It will call and text your pre-programmed contacts.
What kinds of mobile phones are compatible with the VitalBand?
The VitalBand is both iPhone and Android compatible.
Does the VitalBand detect a fall when I’m laying down?
As long as a strong impact is not created when lying down, your device will not detect a fall.
If I’m having a heart attack, will my VitalBand call for me?
Your VitalBand will not automatically call in the event of a heart attack. Press the button on the top of the watch and hold it for three seconds, and it will call and text your emergency contacts.
How long does the battery take to charge?
It takes between 1 and a half to 2 hours for your VitalBand device to fully charge.
What is the battery life of my VitalBand?
Depending on your usage, the battery of your VitalBand is guaranteed to last between 24 to 48 hours.
Do I need to take off my VitalBand for the charging period?
VitalBand enables you to keep your watch on throughout the charging period, ensuring continuous protection for you and your loved ones. Place the charging pack on top of the watch to attach it magnetically. You can also remove the watch and charge it in the cradle provided.
